Job Description
You will be responsible for the daily supervision of a team of warehouse employees and serve as their first point of contact. You will create the work schedule and adjust it as needed based on operational requirements. Your duties also include monitoring and reporting on the performance and quality levels of warehouse staff and forklift drivers. Additionally, you will regularly check loading and unloading lists.
You will provide task-specific training for new colleagues and closely follow up on their progress. During busy periods, you will assist warehouse employees and, if necessary, perform some forklift tasks yourself.
You are comfortable handling unpredictable schedules and thrive on finding suitable solutions. Of course, you can always rely on the Supervisor for guidance and advice.
You will work the late shift: Monday to Thursday: 16:00 – 00:00 & Friday: 16:00 – 00:30
Competencies & Skills
- You have experience in a Crossdock environment.
- You can handle work pressure and unpredictable schedules, as every day brings new challenges.
- Your social and leadership skills foster a positive team dynamic among warehouse workers and forklift drivers.
- You are fluent in Dutch (spoken, read, and written) and have knowledge of other languages such as English/French.
- You work independently, take initiative, and have a solution-oriented mindset.
- You have experience operating a forklift for loading and/or unloading trucks. If you have a forklift certificate, that’s a plus.
- Experience with scanning systems is a must; knowledge of Navision is an advantage
