Job Description:
As a Traffic Operator, you will be responsible for the daily coordination of operational planning and transport activities, ensuring an efficient and customer-friendly planning process with attention to cost-quality balance. After a thorough onboarding and training period, you will be responsible for organizing transport assignments, deliveries, and pickups, always considering established procedures and customer requirements.

You will play a crucial role in receiving and registering incoming orders. You will consider shipment information, customer performance, and costs, aiming to maximize gross profit per file. You will monitor ongoing files and ensure that the data is accurate for invoicing. You will contribute to the development of improvement proposals and report to the Operations Manager.

 

Competencies and Skills:
• Prior experience in a similar role within a logistics environment is a plus but not a must.
• Punctuality and the ability to prioritize are among your strong suits.
• Your social and communication skills ensure smooth interactions with customers, drivers, agents, etc.
• You have experience in calculating load capacities, cubic meters, loading meters, etc.
• Shipping units such as Euro pallets, block pallets, and IBCs hold no secrets for you.
• Knowledge of CMR legislation, ADR, and INCO Terms is an advantage.
• Do you have knowledge of the ERP package Navision? That’s a definite plus.

We offer a full-time permanent contract with a flexible work schedule, under the collective labor agreement 226. After the onboarding period, you can enjoy two days of remote work per week.
Salary is negotiable based on experience, including meal vouchers, group and hospitalization insurance, eco vouchers, training budget, laptop, smartphone + subscription, and after 2 years of internal experience or demonstrable external experience in a similar role, a company car with fuel card is also included.
